We are delighted to partner with the Maples Group to offer free self-guided tours and in-person workshop experiences for students in the secondary cycle.
Here at MoLI, we are committed to youth creativity! Our ‘Shut Your Eyes and See!’ programme supports teachers with curricular art strands, literacy and the personal and creative development of students.
Secondary School Visits to MoLI, in partnership with Maples Group
Book in for a workshop for free: ‘Shut your eyes and see’ is our secondary school programme for 1st – 4th years. This experience includes a workshop and tour and takes place in MoLI on St Stephen’s Green. They begin at 1pm and finish at 2.30pm on Tuesdays during term time. Our max capacity for school groups is 25. Book here!
Selfguided tours: Irish secondary schools (1st – 6th years), Youthreach and Training Centres, accompanied by their teacher or facilitator, can visit MoLI free of charge for a self-guided tour. Email [email protected] to book in.
Free Scavenger Hunt resource sheets and pencils are available at reception for young people to find the weird and wonderful around the museum and gardens, and are also downloadable here. A Teachers Guide for self-guided second level tours is available here.
MoLI in the Classroom, in partnership with AerCap
If you can’t visit us, we can visit you online with MoLI in the Classroom, in partnership with AerCap! Every Tuesday during term time we run MoLI in the Classroom: a free, interactive, virtual, 30-40 minute workshop for 1st – 4th year secondary school students from across Ireland. Broadcast live from the museum over Zoom, the workshop is delivered directly into your classroom. Our aim is to make the workshops fun and stimulating for all young people, whatever their abilities.
